How to create Digital Planner shortcut icons
Did you know that you can access your digital planner directly from your home screen?
In this guide I’m going to show you all the steps to create a shortcut icon for your planner!
- Open the Shortcuts app (it’s already on your iPad).
- Tap on the “+” icon and rename your shortcut.
- Look for the “Open App” script using the search bar.
- Click on “App” and look for your digital planning app (i.e. Goodnotes)
- In the search bar type the name of your planner and select it (make sure that you’ve opened the file recently).
- Tap the settings icon, then “Add to Home Screen“.
- Click on the icon image to change it.
- Locate the icon that you’d like to use and select it.
- Tap on “Add“.
Now that the shortcut has been added to your home screen, you can easily open your planner by tapping the icon.
