How to install custom fonts for Digital Planning on your iPad
Fonts are one of the best ways to customize your planner. You can use them as decoration or to write your notes and to do list. In this blog post I’m going to walk you through the steps to install a font on your iPad.
Step #1: Download a font installer
The first thing that you need to do is to download a font installer app. You can find a lot of options in the App Store. iFont is a great app and free to use.
Step #2: Find and download your font
Option 1: iFont's font finder
When you open the iFont app you’ll find a font finder in the left side bar, where you can choose from different libraries: Google Fonts, Dafont and Fontspace.
Once you find a font that you like, just tap on “Get” or “Download“.
Option 2: Download from the web
If you need even more options, the web is full of amazing font creators. You can download .OTF (OpenType Font) or .TTF (TrueType Font) files.
If you choose this option, you’ll need to import the file by clicking on “Open Files” in the Font Finder.
Step #3: Install font
Once you have your font in the app, just click on the “Install” button next to it and a message stating that the website is trying to download a new configuration profile will pop up. Select “Allow” to continue with the process.
Then open your Settings app and click on “Profile Downloaded” under your name. Select “Install” in the top right corner and enter your iPad’s passcode. Once again, click on “Install” and you’re done!
